Ashley is a Scottish writer based in the Netherlands whose stories and worlds are inspired the landscapes and people of her beloved Scotland.

From the shadowed forests of ancient Caledonia, to the storm-lashed shores of the Western Isles, her books span historical fantasy, commercial fiction and narrative non-fiction.

Her narrative non-fiction work was published in Unexpected Gifts in 2025, and her first novel, Born Blessed and Bound, a historical fantasy rich in Scottish folklore was selected as a finalist of the BPA 2025 Pitch Prize and longlisted for the 2025 Page Turner Writing Award.

She is currently un-agented and seeking representation.
