Unexpected Gifts - Stories of Change

Unexpected Gifts is an anthology of sixteen short stories and personal essays, from a social worker, a psychologist, a widow, a lawyer, a “single mom by choice”, and a father honoring the loss of his son.

By experiencing change through the eyes of others, we challenge our own choices and begin to lean into new possibilities. With authors spanning seven countries, these “Stories of Change” explore some of life’s biggest questions through a variety of voices.

Compiled by Storyhouse Works founder Hannah Huber, this special anthology features original portrait illustrations by Amsterdam artists, and will serve as an inspirational keepsake for generations to come.

When the daughter of a witch-hunter is revealed to be the very thing her father has vowed to extinguish, she must put her faith in those she once despised before her father catches her… or her own deadly secret is unleashed.

Inspired by the ancient Gaelic kingdom of Dál Raita and the mysterious moon-worship of the pictish tribes, Born Blessed and Bound is the first book in the Born of Gods Trilogy.
